The way JESUS is to us, the promise of salvation, is the same way the Promised Land was to the Israelites. It was a new beginning for them. What is really important is not just obtaining the promise, it is a closer relationship with GOD.

GOD wanted to reveal HIMSELF to the Israelites, so HE made them leave where they were, to a place HE had prepared for them. GOD wanted to redeem us from our sinful life, so HE sent JESUS to die and deliver us.

The Truth is when you begin the journey; you begin to realize that some situations make you question your decision to trust GOD. Start this #Journey, like Abraham (Genesis 12:1-4); Trust GOD and don't #Question! Just live and act by the promise! I was going through something, believing GOD for a breakthrough, and it just felt like the opposite was happening as I was trying. The HOLY SPIRIT, said to me in a small still voice, " IT IS FIRST IMPOSSIBLE, BEFORE IT BECOMES POSSIBLE". And I was remembered all that had happened to me before, because I going through a major breakthrough in my life. Why is it first impossible? Life can sometimes suck, literally suck, but in a funny way, you get by real quick and even appreciate the "suckiness" of life. I sometimes say life is a piece of art in which there are things you understand, appreciate and love, and there are some things you ask yourself what is going on with the #ARTIST and why would HE do that?… You just have to take it as it is.

I remember the days I was a really broke college student. I didn’t see it as permanent, or kept looking forward to graduating and getting a good #Job; I just decided to enjoy the moment of being broke. I did not know what the future held, but I knew the one who holds my future in place would make me laugh at the end. JESUS really does make me enjoy the storms of life, it makes me appreciate GOD'S #Power and #Majesty and how HE always comes through at the end.

I'm grateful JESUS did not pull me out of the storms of life; I'm so grateful HE walked with me in it. I see things I never prayed for, that I was meant to, happening to me in ways I cannot explain, and the things I prayed for happening with outstanding results that I couldn't have imagined. The Power and Greatness behind a storm is actually conquering it with GOD. The Israelites walked through the Storm (crossing the Red Sea) and that's an event that can never be forgotten; it brings Glory to GOD every time the story is told.

Live a life that is after peace… be of CHRIST. Learn to let things go, and forgive quickly. It is hard, but just do it; not only because it's the Christian thing to do, but because it eases the heart and helps you worry less. There is a lot going on in life, thinking about what someone else has done to you is way more trouble you can't afford to deal with. You know what can be more astonishing is, when someone has totally forgotten, or you try to remind him or her and innocently CANNOT remember what he or she did to you! That can be so horrible! You think it's above forgiveness! The funny thing is you ask yourself who the supposed #Christian is meant to be forgiving and forgetting! Nevertheless, you have to let go and forgive.

Another thing, as a Christian, don't react back, it's like #Revenge. For instance, I used to know someone that would insult the heck out of anything, and the person would not hesitate to throw some "insultive" words at me. I would let go and all, but the day I asserted an insult at her, just describing what she had done, she came out saying, "and you call yourself a #Christian and you can call me that".... In my mind I was like, "You are Christian too, and you insult me all the time, I only took one shot at you to address what you have done, and what about the thousand negative words you used towards me?"......

We just have to be that #Christian that is #patient and puts up with a lot, but at the same time, let some people know when they have crossed some boundaries....

Realize when to let someone know they can't talk trash, and also when to let go. Well, since we're all humans, and there are times we can't see the difference, we just have to spend time with GOD, so we can know #HIS #VOICE and know what HE has to say concerning each #issue, because all #issues don't deserve the same kind of response, like the proverb above states.

When there was a #Famine, Abraham and his family moved to where there was abundance (Genesis 12:10). When famine arose again during the time of Isaac, his son, he stayed put as GOD led him into abundance (Genesis 26:1-14). As Christians, it is important to be able to learn how to understand the #difference....
