Lying Is Not For You

You know that moment you completely forgot about something,
you intended to do it and all of a sudden it skipped your mind and you don’t
want to sound irresponsible. Then, something within decides to tell a lie to
escape the situation!
Well, that’s wrong; lying is wrong. A lie is a lie no matter
what it looks like. Even though it saves your head, you deny JESUS, who is the
truth, that you never knew HIM!
32 Whosoever
therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father
which is in heaven.

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father
which is in heaven.

When you tell a lie, you claim you don’t know JESUS. At the
same time, HE claims HE doesn’t know you if anything happens and you find
yourself on the other side (when you die), immediately!

Is it worth it? When JESUS said you should carry your cross
and follow HIM, HE meant it! The CHRIST-like lifestyle is needed daily, and
lying is something, you can do without, as a Christian. It is not impossible;
pray about it, discipline yourself, be responsible and avoid situations that

You can make the HOLY SPIRIT your reminder. It's HIS duty to
remind us of all things; tell HIM to remind you about anything, and HE surely
will. I have tried and it works!
Sometimes you may not lie with your words, but your actions
that are not CHRIST-like will prove to others that you are not a Christian! How
horrible will it be for someone to ask around whether you’re a Christian, and
people say you obviously aren't one!

when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he
