There is a plan..

Grace got this amazing promotion, but the big question was how did they know she could handle what comes with it?! As she shared her testimony with us, it made everyone appreciate the wonder working power of GOD!


The position she held came with the responsibility to brainstorm solutions about different types of problems that might arise, situations that she wasn’t trained for,  she would improvise where needed! As she revisited every instance where she was successful, being able to find awesome talents that would work for and with her, being able to increase productivity where many have failed, ability to provide answers  in scenarios  her predecessors  have never been and many more! The big question was how did they know she could handle all sorts and be successful?!

Peace*Pain*Joy

3 fundamental things that can help you live your Christian Life, one is Peace. Learn to be at peace with everything, with certain things going your way and others not. Be at peace with the fact that, that 'GOD is not freaking out, why should I?". Calm down, don’t be anxious and trust GOD. JESUS was at peace with the whole events that led up to Good Friday, (that’s the time HE was crucified!).

Dealing with GOOD and Evil #LagosCollapseBuilding

A man from the collapsed building in Lagos, had 3 kids in the whole incident. The building was where the kids and many others went to school. He couldn’t afford the funds  for their academics, but on the day when the building collapsed was when he happened to foot the bill and lost the kids later in the day!

Francis Chan made an analogy of life saying, imagine life was this long rope, and this painted part (which was like a few inches) was your life right now and the rest of the rope (which was really long)  was eternity. Sometimes we get too focused on the little part and we forget about eternity, where we will live forever.

Keep going For the People

It was the first time something like this was done, a group of people coming together to  sing songs only written by them! That was the goal, we were all teenagers no one had a clue on how to write a song or what it took, I started it and just needed to trust GOD with the zeal to keep going. I was the one who called everyone to come together and we would only perform songs originally sourced from us, there were times we sang or played around with songs by other people, but we mostly did ours. Well I started the band during a school break, for it to keep going, I   had to keep showing up and taking up shows, and hooking us up with talents that would promote us as much as possible! I was a student earning no money, that went to college 3 hours away from my band. And it was just not a band, but a group of people finding their relationship in JESUS through music ministry, so it meant a lot for us to keep going.

People Matter…

I was short on time and I needed to get quite a number of things done, but I needed to be there for this person, and pray with him. I have been pushing this task aside for far too long and it was time for me to get busy, like every other minister I put aside my life for his, prayed for him and encouraged him. Don’t ask me how many times this has happened, but one thing I have always found out is, GOD takes care of everything else as you put HIM and HIS work first.

Rest but Work don’t be Stupid, know the season..

GOD has been laying it on my mind to talk about rest but I have been pushing it back, until it was what the service @mbctosa was about and a fellow blogger @aundra.williams touchdown on it to as well! We need to know when to rest and also how to inculcate rest into our schedule. Know the season to work, or you can get yourself in trouble like when David was resting instead of working and he ended up using his free time to get another man's wife, which resulted to him scheming to kill another man and earned a curse from GOD. 2 Samuel 11:1-24. David went to war at one point and almost
got killed and his people said he couldn't fight again because he was getting old 2 Samuel 21:16-17. GOD has being teaching me about seasons, one should know when to work and when to relax! All summer long I have learned one hard lesson that was profound at church today, "Inculcate rest in your schedule!"  Youtube Video …

Whether you like it or not, GOD elected President Trump, and he had a past! GOD has forgiven him for his past, he apologized for it, but the media keeps going to his past to dig up all sorts of trash against him.

I was counseling a young man, and he told me how he lost his siblings and one of his parents, I said to him, “GOD is trying to get your attention and HE will do anything to get it, death doesn’t mean a thing”! And finally he lost the other parent and his attention to GOD is one I just keep praying for….

Job lost everything to be conformable to the will and ways of GOD… Death doesn’t mean a thing! Have you noticed the human heart moves on over time after death, some hurt more than the other but at end most people move on… Because here is not our home 🏡, this life is just a stage, eternity await us…

Joy in Death? “his”

We don’t know where we are going, but they do, can you see the certainty in their face and joy in their hearts? Nik Ripken describes the Muslim official, who travelled thousands of miles to come see him and his family, during the burial ceremony of their son. Nik is a guy who tries to preach the Gospel in dangerous parts of the world like Somalia, places where Christians could be numbered and are hunted to be killed. **(It’s in his book and movie Insanity of GOD)

Going all in “Unto”

I tried to look for a way to describe “Unto” to you but the  perfect way is to use the lyrics of “Counted up the Cost” By Rend Collective! The part that has my utmost attention is “I do not need safety as much as I need YOU” “ YOU'RE dangerous, But LORD YOU'RE Beautiful” but I will chase YOU through the pain!” Now you know why I love Rend Collective!  I try to listen to people and hear what they are made of, when you take time to listen to some folks, you hear about movies, music, sports, family and many more. If You want to get a deeper perception of them, try to hear their initial reaction when something bad happens and you begin to hear them cuss, and they apologize and you question where did that come from?

The expectations of being a Christian sometimes seems enormous, tedious and maybe burdensome, but truth be told it’s a requirement.

Paul loved to live for JESUS to the very end even though it includes death, bringing yourself to the fact that what you love so much could cost you your life. It’s also funny how the best love songs have one singing about dying, as an illustration of true love.

What did you give up?! For JESUS #Lent

The tradition of Lent is you give up something, which is a tradition I wasn’t raised with, some people give up food especially beef. A man told me of his wife who gave up her TV shows for 21 days. So as a JESUS fanatic the question plays in mind, I think we are both in this together and we gave up not doing anything special for lent, we tried to dive into Philippians 3:10 and look into each word (this is not the end), its meaning and relevance to our Christian Faith, we also prayed and fasted together (despite the typos and puzzling posts). Can your heart break for what breaks mine…. JESUS asks…

A couple students were shot and killed, some in critical condition as a shooter ran into the school gunning people down, we don’t know the reason why but the shooter was arrested and will be questioned!

In just about 25 states in 2008 in the U.S, 1 million babies were aborted, we don’t know why, but this situation is still rampant till today!

Please understand that when you see people being killed without reason it’s the same with abortions.

Would you still like my JESUS if you were promised Joy & Pain “HIS”

Two people came to JESUS, and asked if they could reign with HIM, one on the left and the other on the right, and JESUS said

39 And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized: Luke 10:39

The same drink that JESUS promises the Sons of Zebedee, was the same cup he did not want to drink, where he prayed GOD to let the cup pass over HIM.

I’m going to own up to it! “I love the embarrassment” “of”

I was volunteering in this place and we were giving scenarios of how to handle our daily activities, then as we were doing this, a girl try to  over explain a situation and interlocked her arm into mine, and I quickly made a goofy face, like I was astound by the fact a girl will put her arm into  mine. One of the guys looking who didn’t really know me just went off saying, Light got freaked out that a girl touched him, he made it sound like I was this super religious person, and I don’t know how to handle just a casual joke! Or I maybe don’t like girls! Well for those who knew me well and those who didn’t they all knew my story, and they all knew I’m a virgin without telling, and as a guy they will always take a shot at you when they can, I have experienced this my whole life so I’m used to it up to the fact that I enjoy it, I use it to share my Faith. I even begin to feel uncomfortable when I’m no longer ridiculed for my faith, as my America friends will put it “I’m very religious”, you just need to spend a few minutes with me to find out. There has being quite a number of times I have been called to order, which is fine, I can’t keep calm about my JESUS, I Guess that’s why I write about HIM!

Can I really love you like that? "Fellowship"

I’m tired she said, I’m not looking forward for this vacation, this cruise is going to take a huge toll on me. I just got to meet this woman for less than 5 minutes and she was crying her heart out. Her husband got disabled with spinal injury, for about a couple years now, and she has to be the heavy lifter, and the part that kills her is knowing he sees himself as less a man that can’t do the things he wants to for his family.
