35 While he yet spake, there came from the
ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why
troublest thou the Master any further?
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was
spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
Mark 5:35-36 King James Version (KJV)
The way JESUS is to us, the promise of salvation, is the
same way the Promised Land was to the Israelites. It was a new beginning for
them. What is really important is not just obtaining the promise, it is a
closer relationship with GOD.
GOD wanted to reveal HIMSELF to the Israelites, so HE made
them leave where they were, to a place HE had prepared for them. GOD wanted to
redeem us from our sinful life, so HE sent JESUS to die and deliver us.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:16-17King James Version (KJV)
The Truth is when you begin the journey; you begin to
realize that some situations make you question your decision to trust GOD.
Start this #Journey, like Abraham (Genesis 12:1-4); Trust GOD and don't
#Question! Just live and act by the promise! Like Joseph (Genesis 39:4-6;
20-23; Gen 40-41) accept your fate, and know that GOD is working something out
for your good.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28King James Version (KJV)
Like Jacob (Genesis 28-35), be where GOD needs you to be at
every appointed time. Like Daniel (Daniel 2:14-45), always trust GOD with every
new challenge you face!
As a Christian, leaving your old life to follow JESUS is a
new beginning. You necessarily don't have to change your environment for you to
feel the impact of things changing! You are in need of one miracle or the other
every now and then!
23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed
him.
24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch
that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord,
save us: we perish.
26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little
faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great
calm.
27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this,
that even the winds and the sea obey him!
Matthew 8:23-27King James Version (KJV)
Just trust GOD! There is a reason why JESUS was sleeping
during the #Storm in Matthew 8:23-27. The disciples have taken a new turn in
their lives, they trust the #MESSIAH, they have heard about HIS prophecy, and
now they are in trouble. All they had to do and what we should always do is run
to JESUS. Don't try to provide a self-help strategy when you're clueless, hold
on to the WORD OF GOD CONCERNING THAT SITUATION!
In life the actual result and the promise of GOD sometimes
don't look alike, they contradict themselves. They told Jairus that his
daughter was dead, JESUS said to him "Be not afraid, only believe"
Mark 5:35-36
Just Believe means just let go and know I have it under
control....
It's hard to handle the fact that someone you know looks you
in the eye and says "your daughter is dead", and the #MESSIAH who is
the fulfillment of the Prophecy says "Don't be afraid". It's hard at
this stage, but when it comes to GOD and the result of the situation is
contradicting the WORD, all you have to do is, let go and LET GOD. Train
yourself always to let GOD have the final say concerning all that concerns your
life.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without
wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Hebrews 10:23King James Version (KJV)
Christianity is all about #Holding onto the #WORD OF GOD.
Don't let life's situations affect your choices!
#Prayer Point 14 If ye shall ask
any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14
FATHER, THANK YOU FOR SENDING YOU SON JESUS FOR US, IN JESUS
NAME, AMEN.
4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God
which is given you by Jesus Christ;
5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance,
and in all knowledge;
1 Corinthians 1:4-5King James Version (KJV)
FATHER, WHATEVER IT IS HELP ME TO TRUST YOU AND YOUR WORD,
CONCERNING ALL I FACE IN LIFE, NOT MINDING THE RESULTS BUT TRUSTING YOU TILL
THE END, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious
promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having
escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2 Peter 1:4King James Version (KJV)
